Tango distro Issues

  1. can’t create a topic in the Tango Distro category for some reason.

  2. can’t get the distro to install in a Vultr VM. Boots to the iso but then just sits at a blinking cursor forever.

vultr VM, 1 vCPU, 2048 MB RAM, 55 GB SSD, 2.00 TB Transfer

this is the vm we usually use for our small systems.

Problem 2 solved… I think. It just took a long time to get to the next screen.

also, after saving the network settings and seeing in the port info that eth3 had an ip, the bottom of the screen still said “continue without network”

Thread moved to the distro category.

For #1, I reviewed the settings for the TangoPBX Distro category, and there’s nothing there that should prevent you from posting. To make absolutely sure, I impersonated you briefly and confirmed that your user is not blocked from posting. Try again.

For #2, if you check the installing walkthru I posted, there’s a note about a delay after choosing the option to install from the grub menu, but it would be easy to miss.

Just noticed this in the DNS server entries for TangoPBX using the open source SystemAdmin module, and it doesn’t look right??

What, doesn’t everyone use comcast?

@lgaetz really weird, it’s available now. I was in the category earlier today before I posted and “new topic” was totally greyed out. :man_shrugging:

That does not come from us. We do not add any DNS by default. Your DHCP server would add the DNS or if setting up static IP you would add it.
