Converting an existing FreePBX Deployment to TangoPBX?

Hello everyone, just had a quick question regarding TangoPBX.

As far as I know, TangoPBX currently has it’s brand new distro and currently has two modules: Open Page and the TangoPBX Branding Module.

I currently have a deployment of FreePBX v17. I was curious, to convert my deployment to TangoPBX would all it take is to switch over to the ClearlyIP Mirror repositories and install all of the existing TangoPBX modules available right now?

I also do understand that I can back up FreePBX 17 and then just restore to TangoPBX.

Just wanted to learn more about this possible transition path, thanks!

That will get you a substantially equivalent system. If you install the TangoPBX Distro, the OS is based on Ubuntu as opposed to Debian, which will have subtle differences between them.
