Is TangoPBX considered ready for production?

Hello,

I’m starting my research for upgrading our PBX from IncrediblePBX 2022B2. Which begs the question is TangoPBX production ready? If not is there a rough ETA for when it will be?

My opinion which is worth less than 2 cents - not quite yet… it needs a few more minutes in the oven

But please, test it, and report what you find with respect to issues. I hit hard block with system recordings that I’ve reported and hope to see resolved soon.

I have a lot faith in the team behind Tango and Tony himself… the people that made Freepbx what it is today are behind the scenes here and we have reason to look forward to a future with Tango.

Keep in mind that Tony and his folks have to make a living with their primary business. This Tango release is free and has consumed some time to get it out here. They’ll get it polished eventually but this neither makes them money nor is free to maintain. They have to focus on keeping revenue streams flowing before they can work on the free stuff.
