Cloudflare issue loading UCP

Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue.

I’ve been using cloudflare for a while to allow my clients to access the FreePBX Web UI. Many of them have employees working remote that need to get to the UCP for voicemail and other usual stuff

Recently, the UCP stopped loading but the admin UI still loads fine. UCP page gets:

This page isn’t working

subdomain.domain.com is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 502

Hi @Ashcor , I can’t answer your question but I like the idea of using a third-party filter/proxy to provide access in some contexts. Could you share you how set this up?

Bill,

Originally I followed the tutorial from @Crosstalk and for more than a year it worked flawlessly and was super easy to set up.

Just tried creating a tunnel the same way however and now something isn’t working. Taking some time to dig into it but no luck so far.

I suspect it’s an outdated ioncube version and I’m going to try upgrading that manually after I get a snapshot of my system just in case.

We also used and still use it to some extent.

Cloudflare Tunnels + CF Access + CF WAF Rules are a game changer. We also used their APIs to push IPs from Kamailio and other sources for whitelisting purposes which makes it even more secure.

They also have load balancing, options for geo redundancy etc.

Getting WebRTC to work is a challenge.

We are slowly transitioning away from CF Tunnels tho. Reason being is due to some limits of the packages as well as we wanted some customizations that doesn’t exist yet in cloudflare.

Hopefully one day, when time will allow I’ll write a blog post about it.

@pitzkey What are you moving from Cloudflare to?

@PitzKey and are you having any issues getting to UCP through cloudflare?

NGINX.

I’m not sure TBH, I’ll have to check.
