Does the SIP Trunk service offered by clearly IP support TLS?
I am referring to TLS between the PBX and Clearly. Not the internal side of things.
No, nor am I aware of any plans to implement TLS.
The issue with TLS on the carrier side is it’s a fake sense of security as once we get the call we have to convert it off of TLS to the upstream as the PSTN is not encrypted so it does not really solve anything.
