Hi,

I am wondering if there are any plans to open source the Clearly Devices module?

It would be great to be able to contribute to the templates as issues are found.

I currently do this with FusionPBX and it’s great since:

  1. My issue that get resolved help everyone
  2. My fixes that I upstream help me on my next install

The Clearly Devices Module is for provisioning ClearlyIP phones only . It’s a local module that writes the configs to a local directory on your system.

The Cloud Device Module (CDM) connects to our ClearlyIP CDM platform , which supports provisioning ClearlyIP phones as well as many third-party VoIP devices . This platform writes the configs on demand using our Cloud Platform.

Documentation:

Since the CDM platform is developed and hosted internally—integrated into FreePBX modules, ComXchange, and Clearly Cloud—it’s not open source. That said, we’re open to adding support for more devices.
