Hi All,
I’m running FreePBX 17 and I’ve recently obtained some ClearlyIP CIP230 desktop phones. I’ve been playing around with the BLF status LED functions and I can only seem to get a few of the states to be recognized. (I tried including an image as well as a link to an image of a screenshot of my settings, but the forum won’t allow either
).
In lieu of not being able to include the image, I’ll try to describe the situation. There are 7 states within the phone’s BLF settings: Idle, Incomming Call, Dialing, Talking, Hold, Parked, and Off Line. The BLF Keywords associated with each state are respectively: terminated, early, confirmed, confirmed, confirmed, confirmed, and unknown.
Changes made to the configuration for states Talking, Hold, and Parked have seemingly no effect at all. Further, configure the Dialing state does seem to work… but not when actually dialing. Whatever LED setting I configure for Dialing is what I actually get when the monitored extension is connected to a call. Other than Dialing (aka connected in my case), the only other BLF states that seem to be monitored properly are Idle and Incoming Call states.
For what it’s worth, my extensions are all connected via SIPS and using SRTP.
I’m not sure where the issue lies, but I’m aware that it could by emminating for a few different places. At any rate, any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!
